Highly recommend Atlanta Dog Trainer for all your boarding, daycare, and training needs! I have a sweet but psycho Dutch Shepherd and was a little hesitant sending her for the 2 week board & train. The owner, Susie, was so kind and accommodating. Once I met Shelby, the trainer, I knew my pup would be in great hands. She was friendly, informative, and communicative. The entire staff is super nice and made this such a wonderful experience. Big thank you to Shelby for giving us the tools to continue learning and the entire team at Atlanta Dog Trainer for showing my girl lots of love!

Big shoutout to Atlanta Dog Trainer for their awesome work with our dog Benny! We took him there for obedience training, and wow, what a difference! The team, especially Jorge and the owner Susie, are super friendly and really know their stuff. They treated Benny like one of their own, and he's doing so much better now. Totally recommend them if your furry friend needs some training. Benny's a much happier pup thanks to them!

My 8 month old lab pup, Harley, had her first swim lesson with Jorge today and he was absolutely fantastic! He was professional, knowledgeable, and an excellent swim coach! Harley was very comfortable with Jorge within minutes, and she was swimming on her own before the lesson was over. The check-in process was a breeze and every staff member we saw welcomed us with a warm smile. Such a wonderful experience! We can’t wait to have another swim lesson with Jorge before we start dock diving classes!

The facilities and the team at Atlanta Dog Trainer, especially Shelby, are top notch. We sent our 5-month old Bernese Mountain dog puppy to them for the two-week board and train program. They got us in quickly right before the Thanksgiving holiday, which was much appreciated, and his trainer Shelby sent us regular pictures and videos of his training progress. Two weeks later we picked up a well-trained puppy! We have continued to re-enforce his skills at home and the work they did to prime him has really made such a difference. We will definitely send him back for boarding and, when the time comes, for additional training to become a therapy dog. I can’t recommend Atlanta Dog Trainer and Shelby enough!

We 100% recommend Atlanta Dog Trainer for your behavioral training needs! Especially Jorge! He was absolutely amazing and knowledgable in the theory and psychology of training my dog Gryffin and myself. Jorge took the time to evaluate Gryffin, whom was very hesitant and anxious with strangers, and realize it was me that was exacerbating his behaviors and worked with the both of us to help Gryffin with her confidence. I cannot say enough complimentary things about Jorge and the staff at Atlanta Dog Trainer. Jorge helped our reactive, anxious, and growly pup be more confident and more importantly helped us adults change our behaviors to better deal with her problematic behaviors! We will use Atlanta Dog Trainer’s for life!!!

We took our 2 year old boxer, Leo, to Atlanta Dog Trainer for the 2 week Board & Train program and had a wonderful experience! Jorge, the dog trainer we were working with, was extremely patient with Leo even though he was anxious about being in a new environment. He went above and beyond to send us photos, videos and texts providing updates on how he was progressing with the trainining. He also worked with him in the pool and did some agility/bike work, which helped to established trust between Leo and him. He always took time to answer our questions and was flexible to meet our needs. I would strongly recommend working with both Atlanta Dog Trainer and Jorge specifically! We hope to work with him more in the future.

Samson, my year old Golden Retriever just finished his in-house board and training program. I can’t say enough about Shelby his trainer and the Atlanta Dog Trainer staff! Samson has been going to daycare since he was 4 months old and loves the staff so much. He has always looked forward to going to daycare there. Susie the owner is amazing because she runs the facility and training programs with meticulous care and detail. She is professional, caring, and treats the dogs and owners like family. As far as the board and training he just finished with Shelby, we were blown away! Samson learned how to sit to be petted, place, stay, heel, and to wait calmly. There is so much improvement from the overly rambunctious jumping puppy we sent to train! We can actually walk him now with enjoyment. Shelby used positive reinforcement and consistent rules and taught our boy great manners. We think Shelby is a miracle worker! Atlanta Dog Trainer is a phenomenal place and Shelby is great trainer for anyone who wants a loving and effective trainer. We call her the Dog Whisperer. Thank you Susie for having these programs available for us!

Atlanta Dog Trainer was a MIRACLE for our baby, Denver! He started at ADT as a reckless preteen and came home as a new man!! Jorge was the best trainer and was so kind to Denver as he taught him the basics and more. Denver does not jump on us, does not teethe, actually WALKS into his crate, and is much more calm since going to training here. We are so grateful to Jorge and the team. Throughout training, Jorge sent videos and explanations of the commands he taught our Denver. We felt very good about the training for the two weeks that he was there. Thank you Jorge and the ADT team! 10/10 🤩
